The following "This system has a CD drive attached" warning displays if a virtual CD drive is connected to a VMware SDP Appliance after seeding:
On VMware Appliances, connected virtual CD drives are known to cause issues like hangs and kernel panics. Appgate SDP Support recommends removing any connected CD drives.
To clear the warning message, remove the CD drive from the virtual machine (VM) in the VM settings (right-click the VM in the VMware console, and select Settings).
NOTES: The CD drive must be removed from the VM, not simply disconnected.
The VM must be powered off in order to remove the CD drive.
As illustrated below, at the VMware console, no CD drive should be visible when editing the VM.
