You may wish to review the [Before you start](/v1/docs/client-profiles). ## Add client profile ### Profile Name The name of the profile will appear in the Client, use something that is meaningful to users. Only a limited number of characters will be displayed in the Client, so try to keep names to 20 characters (or begin with something meaningful). If you need to organize profiles for admin users then use Tags for this purpose. ### Settings ***DNS Name*** The Clients use DNS round robin to find a Controller. The DNS name is therefore shared across all the Controllers. *Use Global* The global DNS name was generated when you created your first Controller and can be changed in Global Settings if required. *Set Custom* This custom DNS name will be used for this Client profile only. Refer to [Controller HA](/v1/docs/high-availability-ha-v6-5#controllergateway-ha-mechanisms) for more details about the use of Profile DNS names. ***Identity Provider*** Choose which IdP the users will be authenticating against. > [!NOTE] > **NOTE** > > You can check which keys are in use as all connected Clients will return the a device claim spaKey which contains the SPA key name. Labels assigned to entitlements or resources that help categorize and manage them within the Appgate ZTNA system. The Controller is the central management appliance in the Appgate ZTNA system, responsible for user authentication, policy distribution, and overall system administration.
