Client Profiles include the profile name, SPA details, the IdP, and the Controllers' Profile DNS name and CA fingerprints. Review the Before you start section before configuring.

To add or edit a Client profile, click +Add, select Client Profile, and complete the following fields:

  • Name. The name of the profile that will appear in the Client. Use something that will be meaningful to users. Only a limited number of characters will be displayed in the Client, so try to keep names to 20 characters. Use tags if you need to organize profiles for admin users.

  • DNS Name. Clients use DNS round robin to find a Controller, so the DNS name will be shared across all the Controllers. Select from the following:

    • Use Global. The global DNS name that was generated when you created your first Controller. This can be changed in Global Settings if required.

    • Set Custom. Enter a custom DNS name. This will be used only for this Client profile. Refer to Controller HA for more details about the use of Profile DNS names.

  • Identity Provider. Select the IdP the users will be authenticating against.

NOTE

You can check which keys are in use as all connected Clients will return the a device claim spaKey that contains the SPA key name.
