Connecting to AppGate ZTNA
To deploy AppGate ZTNA, you only need two components: the AppGate Client and a profile link. Users can select from a diverse range of clients that cater to various operating systems.
Client profiles consist of a profile name along with the essential information required for a client to connect to the AppGate ZTNA Controller.
Shortcuts in AppGate ZTNA enable users to access resources without needing to remember or bookmark the specific URL or URI. AppGate ZTNA clients feature multi-page views of app shortcuts, allowing users to pin their preferred app shortcuts to the first page for easy access.
Once a client is operational, AppGate ZTNA's device policies can be utilized to manage various aspects of the client and device. These device policies enhance functionality and bolster security without the need for additional third-party tools.
The controls encompass a broad spectrum of options, such as ringfencing, applying a PAC file, suspending operations on a trusted network, and preventing unauthorized changes to settings by overriding any modifications.
Through the Device Policy Editor, you can also personalize the client UI, use the Client Help Link to guide users to an internal help resource, and centrally oversee the distribution and updating of client profiles.
