Two Connectors can operate together in an active-passive configuration to provide high availability (HA) operation. By assigning the same VIP to a pair of Connectors - They will operate together, one always being active. You can configure either an IPv4 VIP or an IPv6 VIP.
Complete the following fields to configure HA:
IPv4 Appliance Interface. Select the IPv4 interface for the shared VIP.
IPv4 VIP. Enter the virtual IP to be shared between the two Connector appliances.
IPv6 Appliance Interface. Select the IPv6 interface for the shared VIP.
IPv6 VIP. Enter the virtual IP to be shared between the two Connector appliances.
NOTE
When using HA - if you change the VIP, you need to remember to change the configuration of the other Connector that shares the VIP or you will end up with a broken configuration.
