HTML tags can be used for the following message types:

Site description
User interactions
Message of the day
MFA at sign in
Password expiration message
The following HTML tags are supported in messages:
'a', 'b', 'i', 'strike', 's', 'strong', 'small', 'del', 'sub', 'sup', 'br', 'code', 'ol', 'ul', 'li', 'dl', 'dt', 'dd'
Rendering using HTML Tags
The Client and Portal support the use of HTML tags.
The only place where html tags appear in the admin UI is in the Portal Preview (even then there are some limitations).
When unsupported tags are encountered they will be displayed in plain text.
