Accessing Applications
AppGate ZTNA helps your security team to explain how application access policies operate. For example, if you are working from home, the Client can display a message explaining why access to a particular application may not be currently available or what to do to access that application. Message notifications can appear in different ways such as the Notification Bell icon in the Client or as native OS notifications. They are subsequently presented in the Client in one of two ways:
A message when you access an application directly:

A message relating to the App Shortcut you just used:

When a User interaction window is shown, sometimes you may see the Choose alternative action option. Select this option if you are unable to perform the preferred user interaction. For example, you don’t have your FIDO key to hand but could receive an OTP via SMS.

User interactions require you to undertake some form of extra action, such as:
Enter password
Enter reason
Enter MFA (such as OTP or FIDO)
Other Notifications
In addition to Messages and User Interactions, there are two other types of notifications you may receive:
Message of the day. This might appear when you sign in. Refer to Message of the day for more information.
Client Update. Appears when an update is pending. Refer to updates for more information.
