# Uninstallation

This section describes how to uninstall the client from Windows, macOS, and Linux.

## Windows

To uninstall from Windows:

1. From the Windows Control Panel, go to ***Uninstall or change a program*** and select **Appgate SDP [version]**.
2. Select the required options. If you plan to reinstall, leave the stored settings and certificates.

## macOS

1. Open **Appgate SDP [version] Installer.dmg**. The `.dmg` file includes programs for installing and uninstalling the client.
2. Open **Uninstall.app** to start the macOS setup wizard and run the uninstaller.
3. When prompted “Do you want to clear your settings on uninstallation?”, select **Yes** if you do not plan to reinstall. Select **No** if you plan to reinstall.
4. When the wizard finishes, the client is uninstalled.

## Linux

**Ubuntu:** Run the following command: `sudo apt remove appgate`.

**Fedora/RHEL9/Rocky/AlmaLinux:** Run the following command: `sudo dnf remove appgate`.
