Client Settings

The config file for the client is found in %appdata%\Appgate\Appgate_SDP_Service_Url_<some_random_text>\<version>\user.config.

For example: C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\Appgate\Appgate_SDP_Service_Url_<some_random_text>\5.2.0.22596\user.config

Cleaning Client settings

To clean client settings, delete the folder %appdata%\Appgate\

Removing stored passwords and certificates

Passwords are stored in the Credential Manager. Open Credential Manager as the correct user, find entries that start with "Appgate," expand them, and select Remove from vault.

Certificates are stored in Certificate Manager. Run certmgr.msc, find “Appgate” in the left pane, expand it, and click Certificates. Delete the relevant certificate entries in the right pane.

Proxy Auto Config (PAC)

If “Proxy Auto Config (PAC)” is enabled in a policy, AppGate overrides the Windows settings as long as the client is running. Windows settings are restored upon quitting the client (this may take several minutes).
