Add Device Claim Script

Name

This is the name the script will be referred to when mapping scripted (formerly on-demand) device Claims for a particular identity provider. If you are editing an existing script, changing the name may break existing Policies.

Filename

This is the original filename of the uploaded script and will be used when executing script on the Client device. This field auto-populates with original name of the uploaded file. It can be edited.

File

This is the script which will execute on a given target platform. File name and extension is important, Client device must be able to run the script natively. Refer to the manual for different execution on extensions such as *.ps.

If you have edited an existing script you can upload the revised file to over-write the one currently stored in the Client. During authentication the Client downloads device claims scripts which are then stored on the device. Before the script is run, the Client confirms the checksum with the Controller to ensure the script has not been corrupted. If there is a difference, the Client downloads the script again. This will ensure that the latest version of your device claims script will be downloaded and run by the Client.
