Hardware appliance spec

Prev Next

There are three models of physical Appliance available for Appgate SDP. These are specified to be both affordable (for customers that require 'firewall' type services to be appliance based) and to deliver high performance (for customers whose virtualized environments can not support the CPU loads or throughput requirements of a heavily loaded system).

x Due to component shortages the exact specification may vary from that shown here.

* Number of users will depend on the number of users and complexity of . Memory relates to the number of users and the complexity of any associated Conditions. CPU relates to their activity (network) and the frequency of any changes in Conditions.

NOTE

Individual users should be able to achieve speeds up to the typical 1GbE interface of a user's device.

^ The Ax-G and Ax-H appliances use Intel® E810-XXV network adapters with two or four 10/25Gb SFP28 ports. To use these, SFP28 connector modules needs to be added. SFP+ connector modules will also work, but are limited to 10Gb. These connector modules are not included as they are usually part of the cable assembly. These are standard networking components that need to be purchased locally to suit your switches. Appgate does not sell or supply these items. For details see: 25Gb Intel data sheet.

Rear views

The exact appearance of the rear view may vary - below is a typical layout. The numbers shown relate to the interface numbers that will be used in Appliances>System Settings. So 1 will appear as eth1 in the admin UI.
