This section will provide steps to uninstall the Client from Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
To quit the AppGate ZTNA Client program, open the Client by clicking on the icon in the task-bar. Then click on the three dots
in the Client’s task-bar to open the menu and select Quit.
Windows
To uninstall from a Windows machine:
From the Windows Control Panel, go to Uninstall or change a program and select AppGate ZTNA (e.g. named “Appgate SDP [version]”).
Tick the required options shown. If you are planning to reinstall, leave the stored settings and certificates.

macOS
Open “Appgate SDP [version] Installer.dmg”. The dmg file includes programs for installing and uninstalling the Client.
Open “Uninstall.app”. This will start the macOS setup wizard which will run the uninstaller app and remove the Client software.
When prompted: “Do you want to clear your settings on uninstallation?”, select “Yes” if you do not plan to reinstall the software. If you plan to install again, select “No”.
When the wizard has finished, the Client has been uninstalled.

Linux
Ubuntu: From the command line run: sudo apt remove appgate.
Fedora/RHEL9/Rocky/AlmaLinux: From the command line run: sudo dnf remove appgate.
