Requesting a ZTP account

To request a new ZTP account, contact your AppGate representative or email support@appgate.com. You will receive a notification email with further setup instructions once your account is provisioned. The person who requests the ZTP account becomes the ZTP account administrator (ZTP admin).

Activating a ZTP account

To activate your ZTP account:

  1. Check your email for a notification from AppGate. The email contains your username, temporary password, and a link to access your account.

NOTE

The URL in the email contains a five-digit number that is your account ID.

  1. Click the link in the email, or open a web browser and enter the web address provided by AppGate.

NOTE

JavaScript and cookies must be enabled in your browser.

  1. Enter your username and temporary password to log in to the ZTP Cloud Console. If you have issues with your credentials, contact Support.

  1. When prompted, set up a mobile authenticator for multifactor authentication. Follow the on-screen instructions, then enter the one-time code from your authenticator app and click Submit.

  1. You are prompted to update your temporary password the first time you log in. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new password. The new password must meet the following requirements.

    • At least eight characters

    • At least one uppercase letter

    • At least one lowercase letter

    • At least one number

    • At least one special character

  1. After signing in for the first time, the dashboard displays with no AppGate ZTNA Collectives connected or provisioned yet.

Region availability

ZTP is available across multiple regions in the US and EU. Each ZTP region operates independently. When requesting your account, specify your preferred Home Region.

All ZTP services for a given account are delivered from the account's Home Region. Choose the region that best matches your business and customer needs:

  • US (use1): Select this region if most of your end users are in North America.

  • EU (euc1): Select this region if your organization is based in the EU or has data residency requirements.

To request services from a different region, contact your AppGate representative or reach out through any AppGate Support channel.
